CAREER OPPORTUNITY TRAFFIC ENGINEERING POSITION Grove Miller Engineering, Inc., an established and well respected traffic engineering consulting firm located in Harrisburg, PA, is seeking candidates for an entry-level Associate Traffic Engineer position. The successful candidate will have, or be in the process of obtaining, EIT certification. Position requires B. S. degree in civil engineering with traffic and transportation course work.
Responsibilities include preparation of traffic impact studies, traffic signal warrant studies, traffic signal permit and construction plans, signing and pavement marking plans, parking studies, stop sign studies, speed limit studies, and assisting in traffic data collection activities.
Grove Miller uses the following computer software packages: HCS Software, Synchro/SimTraffic, Transyt-7F, AutoCAD, WordPerfect, Word, Lotus, Excel, PCWarrants, Trip Generation Software, as well as TAS and Petra for data analysis.
